Data availability
Some of the main obstacles for studying machinery prognostic is data availability. Data is a assent owner propriety, and in some countries, subjected to local data regulation, like GDPR.
Luckily, some datasets can be found publicly available on internet, machinery diagnostic/prognostic university groups, analytics competion website, etc..
